Anissa Fox, LAC

Anissa has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Phoenix and taught for over ten years. She went on to earn a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Anissa was also a member of the Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society.

Anissa has experience working with children, adults, and couples to overcome trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, behavioral issues, relationship distress, and communication issues. She is committed to building a supportive, compassionate therapeutic relationship to facilitate healing and growth. Additionally, Anissa utilizes a variety of evidence-based approaches to support clients in their therapeutic journey. She is genuine, relatable, and meets people with warmth, empathy, and non-judgment.

As a mother of six and part of a blended family, Anissa understands the unique challenges that go into parenting and co-parenting in a binuclear family. She continues to research and present on blended family dynamics.
